Pampering and YOU time!

Something I think none of us do often enough…. pamper ourselves! This is something that is seriously overlooked yet can do you the world of good to indulge in a little ‘me’ time every now and again. We are always saying ‘I am too busy”, “I have too much work to do”, “I can’t afford it”, “I have other things I should spend my money on” etc etc but the truth you are never going to have enough hours in the day, or enough money, or everything else so you may as well cease the moment and do it now!

Everyone has their own things that they enjoy doing and find relaxing. For me I love having a long hot bath with lots of bubbles and candles while listening to chilled out music or sitting for a few hours on a lazy sunday afternoon with a cup of tea and a good book. But my favourite way of unwinding is to go and get a massage.

A soothing cup of tea…so yummy and an easy way to unwind

If you have a few dollars to spare every so often, getting a massage is amazing for the soul. It calms you and takes you to a place far, far away. You can imagine you are on some tropical island somewhere with a cocktail in hand and not a care in the world. It is a good hour out of your busy schedule where you can dream and let all your muscles relax and melt away.

There are all different types of massages but my personal fave is the hot stone massage. Totally AMAZING, I highly recommend it if you haven’t already tried!!

We all have such crazy busy lives and it is so important to remember to look after yourself and take time to do things you love. So go on…what are you waiting for…off you go, jump in that bath, read that book, go for a nice long walk.. whatever is going to make you feel good and give you time to catch your breath.

Happy Sunday Lovelies.

Stay Fabulous!

I’m with you on this one. I love the spa and massages, I enjoy the hot stone massages, though my favorite is probably the warm sea shell massage. For many years I put off getting a thai massage – I had one a little while ago, and oh my goodness! It. was. so. good! If I really can’t fit a massage into my day, I go get a mani and/or pedi (no color though, easier to maintain!) or get my hair styled, or get my make-up done. You feel so much better even after only a few minutes of pampering. Thanks for sharing this Courtney. Have a great weekend xoxox

Thanks so much!! Oooh a warm sea shell massage I will have to try one that one, sounds amazing! looking after ourselves is very underrated and we all need to take time, even if it’s just 15 mins to relax. Glad you feel the same as me and enjoy it as well šŸ™‚ thanks for stopping by!

No matter where your reader is in the world – this post is perfectly relatable šŸ™‚ I don’t think any of us take good enough care of ourselves – including me (ok so I cant talk right now as Im off travelling the world)…but it has opened my eyes up even more to taking better care of myself, doing things I love & not wasting anytime. I said to Morgs just the other day that when we’re home i’m going to start doing even more things I love – getting massages, going for leisurely breakfasts, finding Perths best croissant haha so this post was perfect timing..as always xx

So glad you agree and very happy you are enjoying your holiday, pampering yourself and doing things you love- that’s exactly what you should be doing! It is so important to take time out for “you”. Life is far too short not to! When you get back we will have to go for a long coffee date šŸ™‚ x x
