I don’t currently have a coffee table but am searching for the perfect one and when I do finally find one I am going to scatter plenty of AMAZING large coffee table books on it.
I would have a fresh bunch of flowers on the table along with a gorgeous scented candle and a selection of books. I would of course have to have all the classic and famous fashion designer books on there, because it just wouldn’t be a real coffee table without them.
Classic Chanel. You can never go past this one. A must have for all true fashion lovers. Think pearls, timeless outfits, oversized sunglasses, amazing perfumes and perfect handbags. “A girl should be two things…classy and fabulous”
Louis Vuitton. Another great love of mine. Adore my Louis bag and wallet (were true investments) and could easily get lost in their stores or books for hours.
Who doesn’t love breakfast at tiffany’s? Enough said!
Dior Couture. Divine! Most stunning gowns that take your breath away.
Vogue- One of the world greatest fashion houses. This way you can always have an edition in your lounge room.
LOVE this look! So sleek and stylish. Would love to have this chair in my bedroom! I dream of sitting on it with a cup of tea, reading the afternoon away with the sun beaming in through the windows.
In addition to the classic style books I would most definitely put the following two books on my coffee table. I have both these books and they are a modern day take on fashion and style.
For anyone who is familiar with Rachel Zoe you will know that her style is BANANAS!! She has a fabulous show “The Rachel Zoe Project” which follows her blessed and hardworking life of stylist to a bunch of famous celebs. This book is very similar and gives plenty of tips on how to style outfits and accessories and look your best. I DIE!!
Lauren Conrad “LC”… Who doesn’t love her. We have watched her evolve from her teenage years in Laguna Beach, to her days in LA on The Hills and now we have the pleasure of seeing her in her prime – designing fashion lines, promoting cosmetic lines, blogging, writing books and much more. I love, love, love this book. It has so many valuable tips on how to work with your body, how to create unique and wonderful outfits, sensational beauty and make up tips, sleek hairstyles and MUCH more. It is a great book if you are starting off or just getting into fashion and want some basic tips or if you just want to follow in Lauren’s footsteps and look stunning all the time.
Lauren has a new book coming out this October (Lauren Conrad Beauty) so keep your eyes out because if it’s anything like the first book it’s sure to be a must have!
