Hey Lovers! Here it is, Gift Guide Number 2 – Beauty Items. I will chat about each of these pieces and why someone special in your life (or you) need them!
Most of the items in this gift guide I actually own myself so I can say with certainty they are FAB! If someone in my life gifted me any one of these things I’d be a very happy girl!
There is a varying range of prices included to cover those gifts you want to keep cheaper and also those ones for that extra special someone who you want to go the extra mile for.
Ok let’s get into it….
1: Essie Nail Polish Pack – These colours could not be more perfect for the holidays if they tried! Gold, Red, White and Dark Hues, yassss yassss yassss!! What girl doesn’t love Essie polish?
2: Too Faced Kabuki Brush – Such a perfect size make up brush, especially for travelling AND it’s pink!! What’s not to love!? I’ve used Too Faced brushes before and they are so soft they feel amazingggg on your skin!
3: Make Up Bag – Because we all need something to store all our beauty goodies in, may as well make it cute!
4: MAC Prep + Prime Fix Spray – I have spoken about my love for this product before. If you have never tried it you need to. Any lady in your life would love this as it helps keep your make up well in place and also gives a nice glowy, refreshed finished. Especially good if you live in a warmer climate.
5: Peter Thomas Roth 24k Gold Eye Patches – For the gal who works hard and maybe plays hard too, or maybe the tired mumma who needs to freshen up her eyes. What a luxurious way to do it!!
6: Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palette Set – For anyone who has tried one of the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Palettes you know what I’m talking about when I say the hype IS REAL! I adore this stuff. It has good pigmentation, applies well, there is such a broad range of colours to suit everyone’s taste. Its just amaze! The Naked 3 Palette is my absolute fave and this gorgeous set has 3 different palette’s to choose from so someone in your life will feel extra special this Christmas.
7: Laura Mercier Primer in Radiance – Again this is one of the newer additions to my make up routine. Since using it, it has completely changed the way my make up looks! I’m more glowy and fresh looking and I’m all about that life. Would work on any skin tone too!
8: Tangle Teezer Brush – These brushes are everythinggggg, I’m serious! I have had mine for probably about 7 years. 7 YEARS!! It in in my handbag every day, has been around the world with me and is still in perfect condition. It’s especially good for using on wet hair. They come in a range of different colours and styles.
9: Beauty Blender Sponge – I didn’t get on to using Beauty Blenders until about a year ago and they have changed my life!! In my opinion they apply foundation sooooo much better than a brush or with your hands. It goes on smoother and gives a more natural finish.
10: Soft & Natural Brow Kit (Benefit) – I recently received this baby for my birthday and I love love it! It is ideal for creating an every day look that’s subtle but styled. However if you want to create more bold brows you can go in thicker with the product to build your look. The High Brow pencil is my absolute fave item in the kit. That shiz will open your eyes like nothing else. Also pro tip try allying it in the corner of your eyes also for an extra awake look!
11: MAC Lip Scrub – I haven’t tried this yet but really want to! Perfect for those in colder climates. We exfoliate the rest of our body so why not our lips too?! They probably take more of a beating than most other things so they deserve some extra love.
12: Kevin Murphy Detangling Spray – I had been having such trouble with my hair getting in crazyyyyy knots but this has helped immensely!! I spray it on after I wash my hair and towel dry it, and brush it through. And bonus it smells amazeeee, sort of like musk candy does anyone remember those??
13: Sephora Make Up Brush Cleaning Mat – Cleaning my Make Up brushes used to be such a pain but this has made it a lot easier! You simply hold it in one hand, wet your brushes and rub them on the mat. It has a few different surfaces which help to get in and scrub all the residue from your brushes. So affordable but such a great tool!
